The program Biochemistry was in the year 2004 and is run for a period of 8 semesters in 4 years. 

Objectives

The fundamental aim is to train graduates with relevant knowledge base information on the biochemistry discipline. The graduates will be welltrained to develope careers in different area like research in university, government or medical laboratories; developmental research for pharmaceutical, medical devices, laboratory instrumentation industries and diagnostics.

The graduates will also, in addition to the above listed, acquire an excellent base for further studies at the level of Masters and Ph.D, or seeking admission into a medical programme.

To bridge the gap between research base knowledge and general practice by designing and delivering a well guided educational principles and values of respect for the society.

Vision

To become a Department of knowledge sufficiency and research reliance that equips graduates for innovation and compliance with the professional ethics in biochemistry practices.

The biochemistry department is responsible for nurturing the students to achieve their set goals through  provision of relevant and productive knowledge which will positively influence their wellbeing and the society. The department of Anatomy stands for the development of graduates with detailed and positive intellectual capacity.
