Information Technology
The Department of Information Technology supports computing, software, systems and digital innovation, student mentorship and 14 active programmes within School of Mathematics and Computing at the Main Campus.
The Department of Information Technology is an academic department in School of Mathematics and Computing at Main Campus. It coordinates teaching, assessment, student mentorship and scholarly activity connected to computing, software, systems and digital innovation.
The department contributes to KIU's academic mission by supporting practical learning, professional formation, research awareness and quality programme delivery. It supports 14 active programmes and works with academic staff to maintain coherent curriculum delivery.
Mission
The IT Department is here to provide the information technology required for the fulfillment of the County's mission in an efficient and effective manner. The IT department assists in the technical analysis, design, procurement, implementation, operation and support of computing infrastructure and services.
