The Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry at Kampala International University is dedicated to providing learner-centred educational programs that meet the health-care needs of our communities.

The goal of the faculty is to graduate qualified, compassionate and inquisitive practitioners and researchers accomplished in health-care delivery and scholarship. We are committed to serving patients and populations by providing a rich interdisciplinary environment of learning, practice, research and public service for all our students and faculty.

Our faculty offers fully accredited programs at the undergraduate, graduate and postgraduate levels, and ongoing professional development activities.

Learners are taught in a variety of environments that include: classroom, online, laboratories, hospital units, ambulatory clinics and community-based teaching sites throughout Uganda. We value collaboration across the health professions and academic disciplines.
