Course Description


This course deals with the application of the design concepts taught in the  Mechanical

Engineering profession.

LEARNING OBJECTIVE:

At the end of this course, the student should be able to:

  •    Apply the knowledge and skills he has so far learnt in solving an engineering problem as a final year individual project.
  •  Orally present the final report and a working component/device/solution to a panel of examiners.
  •   Gain expertise in handling projects.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

A student on completing this course is expected to:

  •   Design a working component/device or find a solution to an engineering problem. Produce a project report that is word processed and in bound form and orally present the report to a panel of examiners. Present the final report and a working component/device/solution to a panel of examiners.
