Course Description

This course involves a comprehensive analysis and evaluation f the process of tourism and hotel development, including the different activities and identification of attraction and facilities for sustainable development of tourism. Therefore, the course will enable students acquire detailed knowledge on tourism industry, and skills to manage different tourism enterprises and resources

EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of the course unit, students should be able to:

Equipped with knowledge and skills to manage tourism and hospitality resources in their work places or destinations

Differentiate basic components of tourism enterprises and how they can be used to develop different attractions and facilities

Recognize the importance of geographical tourism resources and human resources in the utilization of enterprises

Identify the financial resources and their management in tourism projects
