Course Description

The students must have done and passed all the previous courses. The seminars are compulsory part of the MSc in microbiology.

COURSE JUSTIFICATION:

The seminars are designed to give individual students the opportunity to acquire knowledge on how to search for research literature and analyze them properly. 

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The seminars students with knowledge on how to look for relevant literature based on their research topic. The student then writes a concept paper which he/she presents in the department. Once approved, the students then writes and presents a proposal to the department which will be graded before defending it to Postgraduate school.

COURSE AIMS

To test the ability of the students to present orally basic and contemporary issues and topics in Microbiology and infectious disease. 

EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES

Should be able search for good and relevant literature and analyse them well.
