Course Description:

In this course module, students will study how Internet and computer networks form an important medium for transacting commercial activities. Students will learn how to effectively utilize the Internet platform to discharge commercial functions of an organization.  The course shall address areas of online business models, types of e-commerce, e-commerce infrastructure, online payment platforms, online security, social and legal issues, search engine optimization, online marketing, electronic data interchange formats

Course Objective:

The objective of the course is to:-

  1. Make students appreciate interfacing of Internet technology and business world.
  2. enable the students to transfer traditional business practices to online platforms practices

By the end of the course unit, a student should be able to:
