Course Description

This course covers issues concerning personality contribution to organizations. Among others, the learner is exposed to: motivation, leadership, managing change in organizations, management theories, satisfaction, organizational politics, conflict and communication.

Course Aim

This course aims at introducing students to the knowledge and concepts of organizations; with a view of equipping them with the knowledge of organizational dynamics.

Course Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course students should demonstrate ability to:

·         Describe organization and organizational behaviour, management administration and the relevant theories

·         Explain the theories of management, management of  conflicts

·         Describe the management of change and conflicts in an organization

Discuss the leadership and group behaviours through motivation, communication, decision making and stress management.
