Course Description

PURPOSE OF COURSE 

This course will help students further to better understand how industrial psychology   contributes to an organization's success by improving the performance and well-being of its people. An I-O psychologist student will be able to identify how behaviors and attitudes can be improved through hiring practices, training programs, and feedback systems."

EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of the course unit, students should be able to:

  • Demonstrate conversance with the practical aspect of industrial psychology 
  • Discuss the different personalities of people in an organization.
  • Explain the causes of counterproductive behaviour in an organization.
  • describe the employee behaviour and attitudes of employees 
  • Examine the causes of violation of psychological contract.
