Course Description

COURSE JUSTIFICATION

The students will then be exposed to the use probability tests to analyze quantitative data and make inferences or conclusions that are reasonable and non-subjective. The importance of Normal Distribution as a concept and basis of statistical tests is emphasized in Parametric Statistics.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is intended to enable students understand descriptive statistics that include methods of summarizing data and illustrating data for comprehension, quick interpretation and presentation.  It covers both Parametric and Non-Parametric statistics.

Course Aim

The aim of the course is to equip students with skills on statistical analysis and interpretation in education.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the course unit, students should demonstrate ability to:

Collect scientific data when doing scientific research

Analyze different data set

Interpret their results to answer any scientific problem/question
