Course Description

COURSE DESCRIPTION

To understand several important basic concepts in linear algebra, including systems of linear equations and their solutions; matrices and their properties; determinants and their properties.

EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of this course unit, students should be able to:

·         Explain several important basic concepts in linear algebra,

·         Apply methods in solving linear equations.

·         Work with matrices and their properties; determinants and their properties.

·         Use matrices and determinant proprieties to solve systems of equations.

·         Work with the geometry and algebra of vectors.
