This course introduces the student to fundamental concepts in electrical quantities, electrical
circuits, resistance variation, Batteries and Alternative sources of energy
Series and Parallel networks, Capacitors, and Capacitance, and Magnetic Circuits.
This course provides a comprehensive idea about circuit analysis, working principles of machines and common measuring instruments.
At the end of this course, the student should be able to:
- Outline the fundamental concepts in Electrical Engineering.
- Apply the fundamental concepts in other Electrical and other Engineering fields.
A student on completing this course is expected to:
- Solve Engineering problems using Electrical Science concepts.
- Design, construct, test and analyze different application circuits and drawings.
