Course Description

PURPOSE OF THE COURSE 

The aim of teaching physiology is to provide the learner with an in-depth knowledge of the functions of the normal human body. This will enable the learner to apply knowledge in the understanding of day to-day management of disease or conditions.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

  •      Describe and demonstrate the molecular, biochemical and cellular mechanisms important to maintaining the body’s homeokinesis.
  •     Demonstrate effective use of motor and cognitive skills in use of laboratory equipment and analyzing lab results
