Course Description

PURPOSE OF COURSE

The course examines the economic problem of transport operation and planning at firm, local and national government level. Precisely it looks at transport providers, demand and supply of transport policies, intervention as well as transport planning models.

By the end of the course unit, students should be able to:

  • Explain the  techniques and skills to the problems of the transport sector
  • Discuss the analytical tools that economics uses achieve development of the transport sector
