Course Description

PURPOSE OF COURSE

The course deals with issues of planning and policies through exploring significant and controversial issues of growth and development. It equips students with analytical tools for examining planning techniques and how they influence policies.

 

EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of the course unit, students should be able to:

  • Explain the insight of how policies and planning techniques can promote economic stability and sustainability especially in developing countries
  • Discuss analytical tools used to achieve economic development
