Course Description

PURPOSE OF COURSE

This course is designed to explore the use of electronic media to solve accounting problems. It is intended to provide students with the knowledge and skills needed to use a computer to journalize financial transactions, apply computer tools to post financial transactions in the electronic ledger accounts, and enable them to process and generate financial statements.

EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of the course unit, students should be able to;

  • Explain electronic media to solve accounting problems.
  • Use a computer to journalize transaction.
  • Apply computer tools to post transaction into electronic ledger accounts.
  • Process and generate final accounts, and financial.
