Course Description

1.      COURSE JUSTIFICATION/RATIONALE: The course is designed to emphasize the correlation between morphology and the chemistry of cell and also to expose the students to the manner in which tissue culture methods, principles and techniques are utilized in solving some problems of cellular biology.

2.      COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES: By the end of the course, the student will be able to:

1)      Demonstrate a broad range of knowledge and understanding of concepts in Human evolution.

2)      Critically evaluate primary and secondary sources of evolution.

3)      Apply critical, analytical and research skills to a range of topics in evolutionary trends.

4)      Explain and disseminate knowledge about humans and other primates from a global perspective.
