i) The musculoskeletal skeletal system (8 hours)
a)      The general function of the  skeletal frame-work: The functions and working of the skeleton, The growth and development of the different types of bones, Disorders of the skeletal systems
b)      The Joints: Different type of joints, Functions of each of joints
c)      The functions of muscles; Physiology of muscle contraction  and functions of muscles

ii) The nervous system (8 hours)
a)      Component of the nervous system
b)      Function of the brain
c)      The autonomic nervous system
d)     Cranial  nerves  and their  functions

iii) The endocrine system (4 Hours)
Physiology and functions of the following glands
a)      Pituitary gland
b)      Thyroid
c)      Parathyroid glands
d)     Supra-renal glands
e)      Pancreas glands
f)       Gonads

iv) Endocrine system (6 Hours)
Physiology and functions of the following endocrine systems
a)      Functions of female reproductive organs
b)      Functions of  male reproductive organs
c)      The mammary gland, and its function
d)     Normal menstrual cycle.
e)      Disorder related to the reproductive system

vi) The special senses (4 Hours)
Physiology and functions of the following senses/organs
a)  Eye
b) Ear
c)  Tongue
d)  Olfactory organ (Nose)

i) Examination of the nervous system (9 Hours)

ii)Clinical examination of the eye ( 9 hours)

a)      Test for distance vision (Snellen‟s chart)
