Course Description

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The course will involve writing good research proposals. It will include examining research relevance to society, contribution to the body of knowledge, procedure in the selection and evaluation of research proposals, and proposed techniques of data collection and analysis. While lecturers may propose some research topics, students will be encouraged to formulate their own research topics in line with the University Guidelines for writing research proposals.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

At the end of the study, students will be able to:

Provide a platform for comments/criticism so that students come up with researchable topics that conform to the University Guidelines.

Provide a foundation and framework for the conceptualization of the research project

3.      Streamline the focus of the research process, discussions, and overall research work.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

The seminar will help the students to streamline the research proposals so that they can submit once the comments have been addressed. The students will learn how to make good research proposals.
