To impart theoretical and practical skills for developing web-based database systems using PHP, MYSQL, and SQL

Course Objective:

The objectives of this course are to:-

1.    Expose students to the governance, management, and structure of the Internet.

2.    Equip students with advanced website development tools and techniques.

Course Learning Outcomes:

By the end of the course unit, students should be able to:

·         Apply this knowledge in order to develop three-tier applications utilizing: a web browser to display HTML/XHTML code at the Client tier for input and output; PHP scripting language for the Middle tier to tie together the application, and SQL and MySQL for the Database tier.
