- The course equips the students with skills that will enable them to identify criminal action from non-criminal actions. It enables students to competently identify the elements of different crimes.

By the end of the course
- Identify the relevant criminal law provisions in given hypothetical situations and identify the penalties that follow those crimes.
- Discuss the elements of crimes and their attendant legal consequences.
