Computers have touched every part of our lives: It has therefore become almost impossible to go through a single day without encountering a computer, a device dependent on a computer, information produced by a computer, or a word that was introduced or whose meaning has changed with the advent of computers. Because of the significance of computers in today’s world, it is important to be computer literate.

The heart and soul of a computer lies in the hardware it uses. And that is why computer hardware engineers are such vital aspects when it comes to working with computers, therefore students of computer hardware learn how to take raw materials such as hard drives, motherboards, memory modules and different types of processing chips, and turn them into a working personal computer.

Learners here are expected to have acquired knowledge on computer troubleshooting. Coursework of this nature is designed to provide you with the tools necessary to locate and resolve the technical issues that are sometimes experienced by personal computers.

Students from computer hardware class have hands-on experiences in which students learn to both assemble and troubleshoot computers. You will get to install hardware, various types of peripheral devices, software, configure and upgrade PCs.
