Research Seminar 2
The course will aim at examining research relevance to society, contribution to the body of knowledge, procedures in the selection and evaluation of research projects, and techniques of data collection, handling, and analysis. It will help students to strengthen their ability to do guided research, make a report on technical issues and present these issues in a scientific set up. While lecturers will give the students guidelines on the topics to research on, they will not formally teach them in class. However, what is expected out of the students will be explicitly given to them and examined.
At the end of the study, students will be able to:
1. Describe an overview of Methodology, Results and discussions of the work done to date.
2. Explain a platform for receiving comments about the methodology, results and discussions.
The seminar will help the student receive critiques on the methodology chapter and the chapters on data analysis, results, and discussions. The students will improve on the knowledge they have on Methodology, data analysis, results and discussions.
