Course Description

  • This course is intended to enable students acquire an understanding of the nature, institutions and principles of international law.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  1. Acquire knowledge on the role of international law in the relations between States in foreign policy and diplomacy.
  2. Explain the nature, institutions and principles of international law.
  3. Identify rules of international law dealings and principles on pacific settlement of disputes.
  4. Clarify the formation of states and issues relating to territorial integrity.
  5. Explain on the jurisdiction of states in international law.
