Course Description

  • This course will help students to understand how a company is run, how it raises capital, and which organs are responsible for the management thereof.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of the course, students should be able to:

  1. Differentiate the organs charged with management of a company.
  2. Understand the different modes of rising of capital for a company and the legal implications?
  3. Explain the procedure for liquidation of a company and the consequences of liquidation.
  4. Explain the consequence of receivership and the procedure it takes.
