Course Description

This course will introduce students to the modalities and procedural matters of handling civil matters in Courts of Judicature.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

  1. Explain the sources of civil procedure laws and rules.
  2. Discuss the modalities of instituting civil matters in courts and other fora.
  3. Explore the skills of drafting pleadings.
  4. Examine the importance of interlocutory proceedings and orders.
  5. What are the modes of examining and cross-examining witnesses.
