Course Description

This course will introduce students to the law of intellectual property and how intellectual property rights are protected.

LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of the course, students should be able to:

  1. Examine the rights to intellectual property and how they arise.
  2. Examine the role of intellectual property law and the protection of intellectual property rights.
  3. Discuss State obligations under international intellectual property legal regimes.
