6.1 Meaning  and  role  of entrepreneurship  in  Nation  building;  Entrepreneur  as  a factor of production, Importance and barrier to entrepreneurship development, Entrepreneurship and self-employment, Entrepreneurship process, Evaluation of business environment, Identifying viable business opportunities, Market survey, Managing Business enterprises, Strategic plans in  Business, Decision making, determination of project viability, and evaluation of business risks, Some procedures involved in starting and running a business (8 LH)

6.2  Planning of business processes and finances; evaluation of business finances; Contractual agreement; Preparation and use of tendering documents; Evaluation of goals; Work study; Self-assessment; Assessing product demand, matching skills and resources to changing technology. (3 LH)

6.3  Understand the role of personal savings and portfolio investment in National Economic Development, Factors liable to affect the success of a business, Policy Change in product/Service/Technology; Coping with competition, Time Management, Leadership styles/image (3 LH)
