Course Description

COURSE JUSTIFICATION

This  course  introduces  students  to  the  different  kinds  of  connective  tissues,  their functions and how they relate to other organ systems. It also acquaints students with the knowledge of skin; structure and function and how it relates with the integumentary system and other organ systems in homeokinesis.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

 

This is a theoretical course in which interactive lectures and tutorials will be used to facilitate learning and critical thinking.

a.   Describe the structure of the skin and appendages

 

b.   Describe the structure and origin of the different connective tissues

 

c.   Describe the functions of the skin and the different connective tissues in the body
