Course Description

COURSE JUSTIFICATION:

 

This course is to expose the students to basic knowledge on how to write scientific papers and application research methods.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

 

This will a theoretical course delivered mainly through interactive lectures with critical thinking discussions and demonstrations.

COURSE AIMS

 

During the course of the study the student will be facilitated to;

 

a.   Define research and the research process

 

b.   Describe the principles of research methodology c.   Describe appropriate research techniques

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES

 

By the end of this course, the student should be able to do the following;

 

a.   Identify a research problem

 

b.   Prepare and present a research proposal

 

c.   Collect and PHAlyze data using appropriate research methods and techniques
