Course Description

PURPOSE OF THE COURSE

The course is to equip students with issues relating to taxation public expenditure in developing countries and also under developed countries, theories are essential component of public sector to the students since their theories are the they factor that are used by the student to understand the objectives of public sector. The issues learnt and applied into practical experience by the student of economics.

 

EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of the course unit students should be able to;

  • Explain the public sector in general
  • Discuss good conceptual of taxation in an economy
  • Explain the skills of fiscal policy that are still being used today in running the economy
  • Equipped with knowledge about economic efficiency and comparative price system
