Course Description

COURSE DESCRIPTION

 

This course deals with the analysis of the performance of semiconductor materials and devices and their construction, characteristics, integration and applications, including diodes, transistors, amplifiers, thyristors and oscillators, IEEE compliant.

 

COURSE JUSTIFICATION/RATIONALE

 

This course provides comprehensive idea about working principle, operation and characteristics of electronic devices.

 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

 

By the end of this course, the student should be able to:

  • Analyze the performance of semiconductor materials and devices and their construction, characteristics, integration and applications.
  • Synthesize electronic circuits.
