Course Description

This course serves as an introduction to the principles and techniques used in the field of chemical engineering. Stoichiometry is the application of the chemical laws, the laws of definite proportions and the conservation of matter and energy to chemical reactions and processes. It is a quantitative relationship between two or more substances in a process involving chemical and physical changes.
