Course Description

Principles of Marketing is an introductory course that appreciates the marketing concept and examines the functions and roles of marketing in an organization. It examines such topics as; the marketing concept, the marketing environment, understanding the market, product policy, pricing decisions and distribution, promotions and issues in international marketing and market planning.

 EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of the course unit, students should be able to:

Describe are expected to be equipped with the basic concepts, principles theoretical skills and techniques that constitute marketing management.

Explain how to implement, and manage efficient and effective marketing programmes for various market offers in various markets.
