Course Description

Student will acquire knowledge in plane analysis and matrix formations and problem solving.

Expected learning outcomes
By the end of the course unit, students should be able to:

  • Calculate the linear equations using various methods.
  • Compute inverse, determinants of matrices and  how to add, subtract and multiply with scalars.
  • Explain the vector spaces, real numbers, irrational, complex numbers. Spanning of vectors.
  • Determine independence and dependence of vectors.
  • Discuss the various theorems and proofs related to linear algebra.
