Course Description

This course exposes students to practical applications of the knowledge and skills acquired in four selected courses in statistics over the year. The areas include Sampling, Time Series Analysis, Linear Models (or Analysis of Variance).

Learning outcomes
By the end of this course students should be able to:

  • Analyze data using SPSS and STATA.
  • Write  log files in STATA that can be run to analyze data.
  • Estimate parameters of time series models and make forecasts
