Course Description

and This course examines the nature of personality, ability and how individuals can be motivated for peak performance. The course gives special consideration to the study of how groups and inter-groups behave and the underlying causes for such behavior. At the organizational level, the structure, behavior as well as change and development of organizations are studied.

 

Course Aim

This course aims at introducing students to individual, group and inter-group behavior, the underlying causes and how these influence change or development in organizations.

 

Learning Outcomes

By the end of this course, the students should be able to:

  • Understand organisational behaviour and why it is studied;
  • Comprehend the levels of analysis and how they lead to change in organisations; and
  • Assess the challenges of managing organisations organisational behaviour.
