Course Description

The course explores the meaning of Organization behaviour and understands as to why individuals and groups behave in the way they do in organization. It also aims to investigate the impact that individuals, groups and structure have on their behaviour within organization.

It also helps students develop a better work related understanding about themselves and other people and expand their potential for career success in the dynamic shifting, complex and challenging new work places of today and tomorrow.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

This Course aims at introducing students to the knowledge and concepts of organizations, the behaviour of individuals in these organizations among others.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES
By the end of this course the learners will be able to;

  • Explain what organizational Behaviour is
  • To explain the determinants of individual and group behaviour
  • Explain the influence of individual behaviour towards achieving organizational goals.
