Meaning of qualitative and quantitative research; qualitative research as a site of multiple methodologies and research practices; Principles of qualitative and quantitative research

·                           Characteristics of qualitative research (5 Hours)

·                           Modes of qualitative inquiry (5 Hours)

Narrative, phenomenology, ethnography, case study, grounded theory

·                           Qualitative research approaches (5 Hours)

Interpretive and critical theory

·                           Data collection, analysis and interpretation of qualitative research (5 Hours)

·                           Importance of qualitative researches, debates on qualitative studies (5 Hours)

·                           Quantitative Research(5 Hours)

Determining sample size, sampling techniques, validity and reliability of research instruments

 ·                             Running descriptive and inferential statistics on different statistical softwares (10 Hours)
