Course Description

Using practical simulations involving student exercises, the course explores various factors that perpetuate and sustain conflicts. How conflict resolution is influenced by conflict dynamics is also examined in the course.

 

COURSE AIMS

1.    To enable students interpret and analyze conflict situations;

2.    To enable students explore and understand key aspects and notions that explain the complex nature of conflict among people in various settings;

3.    To equip students with the ability to deal with various conflict situations.

By the end of the course, students should be able to:

1.    Correctly interpret and analyze conflict situations;

2.    Explain the complex nature of conflict among people in various conflict situations;
