Public Relations And Media Practice
The public and media practice main focus will be on public relation as a function and the various media related activates it has to perform on behalf of its organization. The course will trace the continuing strong linkage and togetherness between public relation practitioners and the media. First by showing how relation people use internal and external media to facilitate and promote corporate image.
Secondly, how the media practitioners including editors and media managers benefit from public relations activities.

By the end of the course unit students should be able to;
- Organize and call for press conferences and briefs
- Explain the difference between public relations and media relations
- Apply the art of writing to public relations
