It is clear that massive capital investment in modern industrial enterprise and application of modern technology alone are insufficient in dealing with social problems and social needs experienced by developing countries. It is important to deliberately formulate and implement programmes designed specifically to tackle such needs and problems. This requires social planning and social sector management. This course unit will equip social work graduates with knowledge, skills and values to plan implement/manage and evaluate interventions to meet social needs and tackle social problems to promote social development.
COURSE AIM
The course aims at imparting knowledge on the design and coordination of programs for efficient and effective social service delivery.
