Course Description

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The coursecovers climate change, and focuses on how it relates to energy policy. It also covers greenhouse gas emissions from the energy sector, and the potential for mitigation.  It presents quantitative tools for the analysis of energy and climate change issues.

 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

A student completing the course is expected to:

1.      Outline issues concerning energy and climate change mitigation.

2.      explain greenhouse gas emissions from the energy sector, and the potential for mitigation,

3.      describe quantitative tools for the analysis of energy and climate change issues
