COURSE JUSTIFICATION/RATIONALE
To improve on the knowledge and practical experience gained in civil engineering training in year I.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES
By the end of this course, the student should be able to:
- do tests on cement as per recommended codes of practice
- do tests on fine and coarse aggregates according to recommended codes of Practice
- carry tests on fresh and hardened cement/concrete and brick as per recommended codes of practice
- conduct various tests on bitumen and its grades as per recommended codes
LEARNING OUTCOMES
A student completing the course is expected to demonstrate the ability to:
