Advanced Engineering Mathematics
The course covers advanced mathematical
tools of analysis necessary in management of construction processes and
research. It includes definition of
statistical concepts, measures of location, measures of dispersion,
presentation and summarization of data, probability distributions, sampling,
tolerance and quality control, numerical methods, and advanced calculus.
To develop analytical capability and to
impart knowledge in Mathematical and Statistical methods and their applications
in Engineering and Technology and to apply these concepts in engineering
problems they would come across
enable the student outline and use advanced statistical and mathematical tools
in the construction management process and research.
