Course Description

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course covers key environmental aspects related to the construction and built environment. It includes environmental considerations in planning, design and management of projects and health issues in a work environment.

 

COURSE JUSTIFICATION

 

Environmental Studies an upper-level science course designed to provide students with the pressing environmental issues of our time by examining both the science behind the issues and other social reasons behind the responses to the issues.

 

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

By the end of this course, the student should be able to discuss on environmental and health matters in construction.

A student completing the course is expected to:
