Course Description

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The course covers modern management tools and approaches that are expected of all construction managers in senior level positions.  Key contents include management principles, operations research, construction contracts, and planning, scheduling and controlling of constriction projects.

 

COURSE JUSTIFICATION

 

This is a generic course offered across a range of subject disciplines within the engineering masters programs to produce professional engineers capable of making effective and efficient project management decisions. The course provides the academic knowledge, engineering understanding, project management techniques.

By the end of this course, the student should be able apply modern management concepts, principles and tools in the management of projects.
