Course Description

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The course covers the main elements of managing construction site activities.  It looks at the nature of construction projects, effective and productive construction approaches, the effect of technology in construction site management and practice, site layout, site documentation, and safety and health issues on site.

COURSE JUSTIFICATION

 

The purpose of this course is to provide an understanding of site resource management concepts, developing the basic knowledge and skills in resource planning and management in the construction industry, assigning resources in construction organization and management, better understanding of conditions, opportunities and ways to put into practice the knowledge gained.
