PURPOSE OF COURSE
The
course deals with the techniques used in risk identification, analysis,
management and control. The course clearly shows the importance of insurance as
risk management tools and how it can be utilized by managers.
EXPECTED LEARNING OUT COMES;
By
the end of the course unit students should be able to;

Analyze the conceptual
framework for insurable risk.

Evaluate how risks affect
financial/investment decision making.

Appreciate the techniques
involved in risk assessment.
