Course Description


PURPOSE OF COURSE 

The purpose of business ethics is to enhance ethical thinking and quality of decision making at all levels of ethics.  The course covers issues such as decision making, ethics and the changing environment, issues in management approach, the corporation and internal stake holders, external stakeholders, and the global environment and multinational corporations

EXPECTED LEARNING OUTCOMES

By the end of the course students should be able to;

  • Explain the corporations and organizations are ethical entities that are morally responsible.
  • Discuss the stakeholder analysis when making complex decisions.
  • Describe the importance of ethics in the world of business.
  • Describe what constitutes an ethical act.
  • Identify unethical practices in business organizations.
  • Explain the contribute to corporate ethics programs in their organizations.
